A Thought For You

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all  the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember the UK's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words in January 2003, during his address to British ambassadors in London, he said::

"...I sometimes think it is a good rule of thumb to ask of a country: are people trying to get into it or out of it? It's not a bad guide to what sort of country it is."

Only  two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1.  Jesus  Christ
2.  The American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your  freedom.

Daniel 12:4   But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end ...

A Homeland for the Palestinians?  Why they?  How about all those others?

Ezekiel 33:2-4 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

Sinisterism and Radical Islam

Canadian Free Press 2008/3/11
...Sinisterist Radical Islam, like Fascism, Bolshevism and Nazism, preaches transitory alliances.  Different groups of Moslems murder each other one day and form an alliance to murder third parties another day. It is not accidental that today Moslems work closely with North Korean Marxist atheists against Jews and Christians, who are “peoples of the book.”  It is no accident that the Arabs, whose ethnicity is most closely associated with Islam, have the expression “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
This is just like all Sinisterists.  As noted already, Fascists were one day friends with Bolsheviks and enemies of Nazis and the next day enemies of Bolsheviks and friends of Nazis.  This cannibalism exists within Fascism, Bolshevism, Nazism and other forms of Sinisterism. Fascism purged itself of other Fascists.  Bolshevism purged itself of other Bolsheviks.  Nazism purged itself of other Nazis.  Sinisterist Radical Islam purges itself of other Sinisterist Radical Moslems.  The bewildering warfare within Sinister Radical Islam is explained best by a variation on the old phrase “Follow the money,” to wit:  “Follow the power.”  The purpose of Sinisterist Radical Islam is not just power, but crushing every internal and external opponent.  There are no loyalties within it except an individual loyalty to the lust for power.
The pervasive cannibalism of Sinisterist Radical Islam is an important reason why Islamic nations fail. Although war against the unbeliever always is acceptable, the worldly pleasures that Islam embraces, the permission to lie and to murder and to rob are not the sorts of attitudes that can be carefully cordoned off so that only non-Moslems are deceived, murdered or robbed.  A prime example of this is the savage and long war between Sunni and Shia.  Many centuries since Christians peacefully resolved the Great Schism of Christianity, Moslems continue to kill and to persecute each other because of this schism in Islam. ...

Jihad in India

FrontPageMag 2007/11/29
...Our enemy is political Islam and a movement based upon it: the political Islamic movement. Political Islam holds that Islam should have a dominant say in governing the affairs of government. There are good reasons for this outlook, going back to Islamic scriptures.   Islamic trilogy, consisting of the Koran, Hadith and Sira, is the basis of political Islam. In the past few years sophisticated scientific analysis of the trilogy has been carried out. The Center for Study of Political Islam has published a series along these lines. Their analysis points to a very dominant political nature of the trilogy – i.e. domination of political deeds of Islam’s founder Mohammed – as opposed to spirituality. Hence it is very reasonable to conclude that political Islam is almost Islam.   In the context of the trilogy, inner political Islam prevents Muslims from acquiring new knowledge to create a better future for themselves; external political Islam commands them to wage a religious war (called jihad) with unbelievers until the whole humanity is converted to Islam.   Trilogy-based evidence and early Islamic history suggest that political Islam’s intent on absolute control of Muslim masses and channeling of their energies toward conquest gives an impression of an ideology that is primarily designed for extending the powerbase of Mohammed during his times and that of extended tribes of Saudis, non-Saudi Arab Muslims and non-Arab Muslims (in that order) subsequent to his death.   This strong political component also means that Islam may not be structurally amenable to reform or moderation. If one takes away this political component, there is no Islam.   Mosques not only bring trilogy to Muslim communities but they also function as social centers. Due to the political domination of the trilogy, clerics are naturally inclined toward political activism, including multi-front jihad directed at unbelievers. It is ascertained in my book that political Islam, through its socially networked nodes called mosques, is the swamp that creates mosquitoes called jihadis, radicals, militants and extremists, and importantly, gets Muslim populations to support them.   We should view political Islam, not radical or militant Islam, as our main enemy.   Any movement based on the political ideology outlined in the trilogy has to have powerful and resourceful backers in order to be successful. Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan have powerful political Islamic movements within that fuel movements elsewhere – both in other Muslim majority nations and in nations with Muslim minorities. These three nations are called, Axis of Jihad in my book.   Saudi and Iranian funding for mosques can be seen as the most efficient way of advancing jihad, by funding nodes of social network in Muslim communities. Also, the axis of jihad nations or political Islamic movements in these nations has created powerful proxies – be it Al-Qaeda, Afghan Taliban (by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan) or Hezbollah (by Iran).   In this context we can now identify the weakness in American strategy in the war on terror. America is trying to neutralize proxies and radicals while doing little to neutralize the axis of jihad and the global political Islamic movement. While I agree with the initial assault on Saddam’s regime and the Taliban, the continued occupation of Iraq – and even Afghanistan appear to be expensive, time-consuming and draining diversions.   We are now further identifying the enemy: a political ideology of conquest that inspires terror, mosques as the nodes that spawn jihad and axis of jihad as the main backer nations of the ideology and the nodes.    ...The Koran was the first book of the trilogy to be put together, and that was done several decades after the death of Mohammed. In a Hadith it is said that Koranic verses were collected from bits of bone, stone, parchment, date palm leaves, and also from the memories of those who had memorized it.   Clearly, leaves, stones, bits of bone, and people’s memory are not reliable forms of note-taking or information storage when Mohammed delivered his “revelations”. This is common sense. For something as profound as God’s “revelations,” there shouldn’t be an iota of doubt about their authenticity. We can make a powerful assertion that available evidence makes the claim of associating these revelations with God not scientifically credible. ...

Jordan will vote this year, under a controversial law
The Daily Star 2007/4/27
Speculation was rife over the last several months that King Abdullah II would exercise his constitutional prerogative to delay Jordan's parliamentary elections, due to take place this year. Regional instability, Islamist governing parties in Iraq and Palestine, and discontent over Jordan's rising inflation and subsidy cuts were cited as potential reasons. Major national organizations and figures, however, including the National Center for Human Rights and the Council of Professional Association Presidents, came out strongly against a delay. King Abdullah ended the speculation on March 2, and against the advice of some of his closest advisors, declared that the elections will be held this year.   With elections on the way, Jordan's controversial electoral law is once more under scrutiny. Influential figures and organizations, including Islamic Action Front (IAF) secretary general Zaki Bani Irsheid and The Jordan Times, have called on the government to change the "one-vote" law used in parliamentary elections since 1993. That system allows each voter one vote, regardless of how many parliamentary seats represent the voter's district. The system puts political parties at a disadvantage, as they effectively cannot run slates or lists of candidates in each district because voters only get one choice. The law therefore benefits independent candidates with strong personal or tribal connections to a significant number (but not necessarily a majority) of the district's voters. ...

Strange bedfellows
Al-Ahram 2007/4/26
When Acting Israeli President Dalia Itzik (President Moshe Katsav has been suspended from office for allegedly committing sexual offences) met Jordan's King Abdullah II last week, the king reportedly told her and the accompanying delegation everything they loved to hear.   According to the Israeli media, the king told the visiting Israeli officials that, "we are in the same boat, we have the same problems, and we have the same enemies."   The Israeli daily, Haaretz, reported that the king reiterated these comments a number of times and that "those at the meeting" understood the remarks as referring to "Iran, Hizbullah and Hamas".   The king also reportedly said at one point, "do you want Iran on the banks of the Jordan?"   More significantly, Abdullah II is said to have told the Israeli delegation that clauses in the Arab Peace Plan pertaining to the Palestinian refugees' right of return should be understood as referring to "compensation" not "repatriation", and that "everything will be consensual and that the Arab Peace Plan was not actually a plan but merely a talking point."
After former Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin, who took part in the meeting, reminded the king that Arab League Secretary Amr Moussa had referred to the plan as a "take-it-or-leave-it offer," the king reportedly told Rivlin, "leave him to me." ...Abdul-Sattar Qassem, professor of political science at An-Najah University in Nablus and former presidential candidate, argued that Palestinians would attach more credibility to the Hebrew press reports on the King's statements than to denials by Jordanian officials.   "It is true the Israelis lie a lot, but Arab leaders lie even more, they are inured to lying to their people and to deceiving and misleading them. ...There is no doubt that the Jordanian leadership, namely King Abdullah II, is very worried about the possible ramifications and turbulence that may engulf the region, especially its most vulnerable spots, such as Jordan, if the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is allowed to linger on without resolution. ...Hence, his desperate attempts to get Israel to accept the Arab Peace Plan.

Olmert Warns Of Looming War With Syria
CrossRhythms 2007/4/27
Israeli officials decided to publicly warn during April that a major conflict may be looming with Syria in the coming months. This came after further evidence emerged that the Baathist regime ruling from Damascus is stepping up war preparations, along with allied Hizbullah militia forces in Lebanon. Meanwhile political fallout from last year's Second Lebanon War continued to swirl in Israel, with government cabinet ministers, legislators and regular citizens waiting for the release of the seminal Winograd Committee report on the conflict, expected in late April or early May. Many analysts predict the report could spell the end of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's public career, along with current Defense Minister Amir Peretz. ...

DEBKAfile Exclusive: Frontrunner as next Revolutionary Guards chief threatens US world interests and Israel if Iran is attacked
DEBKAfile 2007/4/26
Mohammad Baqer Solghadr, deputy interior minister, has been tagged for this top post by Iranian leaders engrossed in war preparations, according to DEBKAfile’s Iranian sources. He told the official Iranian news agency IRNA Thursday: “Nowhere would be safe for America with (Iran’s) long-range missiles… we can fire tens of thousands of missiles every day.” He added: “With long-range missiles Iran can also threaten Israel as America’s ally” and US Middle East bases.   DEBKAfile’s military sources report that Solghadr was not overstating Iran’s missile capabilities. The Islamic Republic’s expanded war preparations must be taken into account as encompassing Syria, the Lebanese Hizballah and the Palestinian Hamas, the Jihad Islami, the Fatah-al Aqsa Brigades and the Popular Resistance Committees. Tehran has armed and harnessed these allies and proxies for response to a US or Israeli attack on Iran which Tehran is certain is planned for the summer months.   They have been fed with an assortment of missiles of varying ranges by Iranian air and sea lifts. Putting together the missile arsenals piled up in Iran, Syria, and amassed by Hizballah and Palestinian groups yields a total that makes a daily barrage of several thousand missiles against Israel and US regional bases feasible. This deterrent, put in place over several months, allowed Zolghadr to issue his threat with confidence. ...

Syria's Ruling Party Wins in Vote
The Washington Post 2007/4/26
The government said Thursday that Syria's ruling coalition took an overwhelming majority of seats in parliamentary elections that were boycotted by the opposition as a farce.   The rubber-stamp legislature is likely to consolidate the rule of President Bashar Assad, who is expected to seek its nomination to run for a second seven-year term in July. There had been no doubt about the outcome, because the constitution guarantees the Baath Party and its allies a two-thirds majority in the parliament. ...Dissident Maamoun Homsi, a former lawmaker who was imprisoned before he fled abroad, scoffed at the results as forgeries.   "No parliament in the world today appoints two-thirds of its members without competition ... and allows the rest to be hand-picked by intelligence agencies," he said in a statement e-mailed to The Associated Press in Beirut. ...

Arab 'boycott Israel' conference held in Damascus
Israel Insider 2007/4/26
Fourteen Arab states gathered in Damascus this week for a four-day conference focused on boycotting Israel.   The event is being sponsored by the Arab League and marks the fourth time the representatives have met in the past 18 months.   So-called US allies Iraq and Saudi Arabia are among the countries represented at the conference, despite US pressure on the two countries to end their enforcement of the boycott, which bans business with Israel or business in Israeli-made goods. ..."The Arab boycott of Israel will remain an influential tool and strong backer of the Palestinian people until the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and the restoration of all the occupied Arab territories," Muhammad al-Ajami, director of the Syrian Office for the Boycott of Israel, said to the official Syrian news agency SANA. ...

Jordanian police arrest man for killing his sister, supposedly to uphold family 'honor'
International Herald Tribune 2007/4/26
Jordanian authorities arrested a man accused of killing his 30-year-old sister on suspicion that she had a love affair, even though he had earlier signed a pledge to the police that he would not harm her, a police official said Thursday.   The crime, which took place in the eastern industrial city of Zarqa on Wednesday, brings to eight the total number of women killed since January in what is known as "honor crimes."   An average of 20 women are killed by male relatives each year in Jordan, a largely conservative Muslim society where men have the final say in all family matters. Many here consider sex out of wedlock an indelible stain on a family's reputation. Some women in conservative circles of the society have been killed simply for dating.   The police official, insisting on anonymity because he is not allowed to speak to the press, said the suspect allegedly sprayed his sister with seven bullets in broad daylight and fled the crime scene. The woman died instantly of her wounds, the official said. ...

But Khaddam brushes off these fears, saying they would never move towards an Islamic state in Syria. Jordan king’s proposed visit to Israel hits snags

At least 30 deputies of the Jordanian lower house of parliament have submitted a memorandum urging an ‘immediate halt to all negotiations and meetings’ with Israel, parliamentary sources said.   The signatories, who included both Islamists and pro-government lawmakers, cited Israel’s ‘failure to abide by any truce with the Palestinians as well as its failure to implement any UN Security Council resolutions pertaining to the Palestinian question.’   Less than 24 hours after Israeli newspaper Ma’ariv reported on Friday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert had extended an invitation to Abdullah to visit Israel, Israeli troops killed nine Palestinians in new attacks on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, house members said.   The Jordanian royal court confirmed that the Israeli premier had extended the invitation to the monarch during a telephone conversation on Wednesday, but said the king ‘has neither accepted nor refused the invitation’. ...

Is Islam Compatible With Democracy? Part I
Global Polititian 2007/4/23
“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.” — The Koran, 8.12   “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy)’” — Hadith of Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220   “He who strikes terror into others is himself in continual fear.” — Claudian, Roman poet   Occasionally I get annoyed over the fact that I am compelled to spend significant amounts of my time refuting Islam, an ideology that is flawed to the core and should be totally irrelevant in the 21st century. But then I try to see it from a positive angle: The good part about our confrontation with Islam is that it forces us to deal with flaws in our own civilization. It has already exposed a massive failure in our education system and our media, both filled with anti-Western sentiments and ideological nonsense. These legacies from the Western Cultural Revolution of the 1960s and 70s have left us unable to recognize the Islamic threat for what it is. Thus, when we are confronted now with the question of whether or not Islam is compatible with democracy, we also have to ask under what conditions a democratic system is able to function. ...

nt.   Ha'aretz, quoting Israeli lawmakers who attended the meeting, said King Abdullah had told Itzik that "Instead of talking about the Palestinian right of return (in an Arab peace initiative), it might be necessary to talk about the right to compensation." ...

This is now the propaganda via the internet that the king is using to push (more like coerce) Israel into his 'peace' compromise.   However, God calls it a 'covenant with death'.

Hamas demanded Saturday that Jordan clarify its stance on the Palestinian right of return after an Israeli daily reported that the Jordanian king spoke in favor of paying compensation to Palestinian refugees instead.   The report Friday in the Haaretz newspaper claimed King Abdullah II had told a visiting Israeli parliamentary delegation this week that he favored the payments over granting Palestinian refugees and their millions of descendants the right to return to Israel , as Palestinians have long demanded. Israel objects to the right of return, saying such an influx would mean the end of Israel‘s existence as a Jewish state.   Hamas, whose leader Khaled Mashaal is based in Syria , demanded an explanation from Amman because of the "seriousness" of the comments the paper had attributed to Abdullah.   Another Damascus-based radical Palestinian faction, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, denounced Abdullah‘s alleged comments, saying they reflected a "top alliance with the Zionist enemy." ...

Jordan Seizes Tape of Royal's Interview
WTOPNews.com 2007/4/21
Jordanian authorities on Saturday confiscated a videotape of an Al-Jazeera interview with the country's former crown prince in which the broadcaster said the Jordanian royal sharply criticized U.S. policies in the Middle East as "destructive."   Ghassan Ben Jeddou, Al-Jazeera's bureau chief in Beirut, Lebanon, interviewed Prince Hassan in Amman. On the tape, the journalist said the prince had also cited U.S. reports that a national security adviser in Saudi Arabia was financing Sunni militants to fight the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah, which is based in Lebanon.   The Qatar-based satellite broadcaster identified the Saudi official as Prince Bandar bin Sultan, a former ambassador to Washington.   Ben Jeddou said in a statement the prince had criticized U.S. policies in the Middle East as "destructive." Jordan is considered one of Washington's closest allies in the Arab world.   The tape was confiscated as Ben Jeddou was about to leave the kingdom. No further details were immediately available.   Nasser Judeh, the chief Jordanian government spokesman, confirmed the confiscation but said it had nothing to do with the content of the interview with Prince Hassan, the uncle to Jordan's King Abdullah II and a one-time heir to the throne.   Ben Jeddou said Jordanian authorities informed Al-Jazeera's office in Amman that the seizure was "an official measure by Jordanian authorities" and that they have "no problem with Al-Jazeera." ...

The king reiterated the comments a number of times, which those at the meeting said referred to Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas.   Abdullah also emphasized that he spoke not only for Jordan but for a group of states in the region. The king asked at one point: "Do you want Iran on the banks of the Jordan?" ...

Bishop Dawni Hails Jordanian Efforts in Preserving Islamic and Christian Holy Places
Jordan News Agency 2007/4/20
Bishop Suhail Dawni of the Episcopalian Church of Jerusalem, Jordan and Middle East hailed the Jordanian efforts being exerted to preserve the Islamic and Christian holy places in Palestine.   He called on followers of all religions to fight the Israeli excavations around the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. ...He added that they are honored with the Hashemite family and its role in preserving citizens and the Christianity existence, thanking His Majesty King Abdullah for his great efforts in looking for the holy places and preserving the coexistence.

It appears obvious to me that this so called Bishop has no regard for what God thinks about anyone dividing His land Israel, in that he honors King Abdullah II, the very one pushing the so called 'Arab peace plan' that will further split Israel.

Iraq may hold twice as much oil
Financial Times 2007/4/19
Iraq could hold almost twice as much oil in its reserves as had been thought, according to the most comprehensive independent study of its resources since the US-led invasion in 2003.   The potential presence of a further 100bn barrels in the western desert highlights the opportunity for Iraq to be one of the world’s biggest oil suppliers, and its attractions for international oil companies – if the conflict in the country can be resolved.   If confirmed, it would raise Iraq from the world’s third largest source of oil reserves with 116bn barrels to second place, behind Saudi Arabia and overtaking Iran. ...

Pig fat to be turned into diesel

A solution for the world's energy crisis may come in the form of a pig.
BBCNews 2007/4/19
American oil company ConocoPhillips and Tyson Foods, the world's biggest meat producer, have announced that they will produce diesel from pork fat.   Cows and chickens will also be transformed to power motor vehicles.   The companies say that this renewable source of energy will be cleaner than conventional diesel. It is hoped that it will be available at petrol stations by the end of the year.   "It is chemically equivalent to diesel itself," said Geoff Webster, who is managing the scheme for Tyson Foods, in an interview with the BBC World Service.   "It has lower Carbon Dioxide, it is zero sulphur, so many positive benefits for the environment."...
Oh, how sweet it is!  Lower fuel prices finally, and with added benefits!!  Payback may really be hell to some though that believe in Jahannam such as Muslims.

Prince Al Hassan: Achieving Justice on International Level Contributes in Global Democracy
Jordan News Agency 2007/4/19
...Prince Al Hassan Bin Talal said that democracy is a universal and relative concept, that no nation or society can claim ownership over the values and precepts of democracy.   Prince Hassan remarks came during the "US democracy strategy: An American-Jordanian dialogue" conference which kicked off today.   The prince added that democracy is a process and a condition, not merely the show of vote-casting, since there is confusion on the subject because there is rarely any clarification on the use of the word, as a process, as a state or condition, or as an outcome.   Prince Hassan stressed that the realization of international justice enhances not only peace, but also the internationalization of democracy, the sense of a more lawful and legitimate world order. ...
You can bet your bottom dollar that they will redefine democracy in their own image, and at the same time get US to buy into it, then force it down not only our but the rest of the world's throats.  And yu can bet your bottom dollar that it's new definition is in the image of Islam.

Separate But Equal
FrontPageMag 2007/4/17
In his recent address to Congress, King Abdullah II of Jordan dramatically quoted FDR’s famous “four freedoms speech” as a means to describe American foreign policy as freedom from fear, freedom from want, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. The goal of the speech was to call for greater US involvement in facilitating an Israeli-Palestinian peace process. What is significant about this call is the Palestinian conundrum that Adbullah himself faces in Jordan.   Unlike the Palestinian cause in the West Bank, Lebanon, or Syria, the cause in Jordanian refugee camps is not as plastered all over the place as in other Arab countries where Palestinians reside. Thanks in part to an efficient secret police force, the Hashemite cult of personality remains dominant, at least in public. But Jordan’s demographics continue to work against Abdullah and his dynasty. ...Although Jordan under Abdullah could serve as a positive example for how Palestinians could become assimilated in an Arab country, the desire to keep the Palestinians in their dire state is greater. In the end, the ongoing factional violence which includes kidnappings and assassinations now threatens to return the streets of Gaza to a state of war. And the so-called unity government is just a tactical truce to be held until one party believes unity no longer serves its interests.

Israel tells Syria to quit “ultimatums”
Khaleej Times Online 2007/2/17
Israeli Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres said on Tuesday that Syria had to stop using “the language of ultimatums” in its peace overtures to the Jewish state.   The time of using the language of ultimatums has passed... It is time that Syria seriously consider peace,” Peres told Israeli public radio.   He was responding to comments by Syrian Information Minister Mohsen Bilal, who warned on Monday that Israel would face the alternative of “resistance” if it rejected Arab peace initiatives. ...
